Our History
The journey of Be The Church Brazil began with Dave and Jan Santos, who, in 1984, answered God’s clear call to serve in São Paulo, Brazil—one of the world’s largest and most challenging urban centers. Over the years, they have revitalized youth camps, planted four churches, and hosted over 1,600 mission trip participants from U.S. churches. Dave and Jan have recently entrusted the ministry center to Chapel Pointe and the Be The Church ministry, amplifying Kingdom impact through a larger team. Today, the ministry enters a new phase, focused on shepherding and training Brazilian pastors, their wives, and future leaders.
Who We Are
At Be The Church Brazil, we believe in empowering believers to embody Christ’s love in their everyday lives. Our ministry is committed to cultivating discipleship, fostering community, and creating sustainable opportunities for spiritual growth. As we embrace this mission, we hold fast to the principle: “Find yourself a Timothy, put him on your shoulders, and help him see further than you ever could.” By investing in others and equipping them to grow, we aim to build a legacy of faith that extends far beyond ourselves.
What We Do
Our mission is to connect faith with action. Through dynamic programs, we:
- Offer Christ-centered curriculum to inspire deeper biblical understanding.
- Serve as a local Multiplication Center, providing training, resources, and support for churches and church leaders.
- Host events and workshops to empower church leaders in São Paulo and surrounding communities.
Where We Serve
Our ministry is based in the vibrant heart of São Paulo, Brazil, but our reach extends far beyond. Across the nation and internationally, we collaborate with Multiplication Centers in the United States—Michigan, Vermont, and New York—as well as in the Philippines, building a global network of support, growth, and inspiration.
